As a Micro-Atelier we explored the connotations and ideas surrounding the identity of a bus stop. Our aim was to change the mood of the bus stop and encourage people to move and engage within the space. These movements change the identity and may portray an emotion or thought from the user. This physical conversation lets the users interact silently with one another. Using pressure sensors and LED lights we created a spatial intervention that illuminates in a form representative of the surrounding community. The identity of our bus stop reflects those that use it.
